Company Overview
Strategic Test was established in the UK during 1994. The company opened a subsidiary in Sweden in 1999 and decided to make this the head office during 2000. In 2004 we celebrated our 10th anniversary and the opening of our USA subsidiary, Strategic Test Corporation which is located in the Boston area.
We supply best-in-class PC instruments based on the standard PCI Express, PCI, PXI and CompactPCI formats. The UltraFast products are sold worldwide direct to the end-customer to ensure the best possible price (without agent mark-up's) and the highest quality of technical support.
Strategic Test is unique in providing lifetime support and free software updates for the UltraFast products to minimize cost of ownership.The software updates also include future operating system drivers i.e. Windows 7.
Long-term availability is critical for OEM's and all of the products are anticipated to be available for a minimum of 10 years.
In 2002, we created the Embedded Systems division (www.strategic-embedded.com) and are known within this market as a world-leading specialist supplier of low-power embedded single board computing based on the Marvell XScale PXA320, PXA270 and PXA255 processors:
The company remains privately held by the original owners and has enjoyed constant organic and profitable growth during the past 15 years.
We have two core product ranges:
- UltraFast high-speed A/D, D/A and Digital I/O cards that are available in the PCI Express, PCI, PXI and CompactPCI industry standard formats
- Development Kits and miniature embedded Systen-on-Modules (SOM) based on the Marvell PXA320 and PXA270, and the Freescale i.MX25, i.MX27 and i.MX37 processors. In this field our products are known for the lowest power consumption in their class and very competitive pricing.
In addition, we provide the following services:
- Design to Manufacture of custom carrier board pcb's based around the embedded Marvell and Freescale System-on-Modules we supply
