The driver source code is available upon request. This is important since the transition from 2.4 to 2.6 kernels may cause the user to recompile the driver on their host PC, particularly if they have modified the distribution for multi-processor operation. It can also be used to port the driver to other Linux distributions such as Scientific Linux and operating systems including VxWorks.
The same simple programming concept is found in all Windows and Linux drivers, allowing customers to upgrade their OS without modifying their application code.
In line with the company’s policy of free-of-charge lifetime software updates, the drivers can be downloaded from the company website support area.
