8-bit D/A to 125 MS/s – PXI cards

Posted on Oct 19, 2011, Categories: pxi

125 MS/s, 8-bit Arbitrary Waveform Generator

  • 3U PXI card
  • Up to 3 Vpp into 50 Ohm load
  • 2 independent and synchronized output channels
  • Offset and amplitude programable
  • 3 software selectable reconstruction filters
  • 1 kS/s to maximum output rate, each channel
  • Up to 128 MB of onboard signal memory
  • FIFO mode, up to 100 MB/s data transfer to PC
  • Multi-card synchronization

Boards

The UX6110 is a 2 channel 8-bit Arbitrary Waveform Generator PXI card with a maximum output rate of 125 MHz on each channel. Each channel can be independently set for offset, amplitude or filter.

With up to 128 MB onboard memory (64 MSamples), even the fastest signals can be generated for a long time. At slower speeds, the FIFO mode can be used to output longer signals with data transfer direct from the PC memory or hard disk.

Software

• Free SBench 5.x waveform generation program
• Free software drivers for Windows XP/2000/NT, 98 and Linux
• Free source code example for c/c++, VB, Delphi
• Optional drivers for MATLAB, LabView, DASYLab, Agilent-VEE

Board options

• Multiple Replay
• Gated Sampling

UX6000 Amplifier Cards

Customers who require +/-10V output levels can now use the optional UX6000 Amplifier cards. These 3U PXI cards have 1 to 4 amplifier channels with a fixed amplification. Each channel can deliver +/-10 V in high impedance or +/-5 V in 50 ohm termination. The amplifier card has a bandwidth of 30 MHz.

• UX6000-1Amp (1 channel)
• UX6000-2Amp (2 channels)
• UX6000-4Amp (4 channels)

Strategic Test

Strategic Test was established in the UK during 1994. The company opened a subsidiary in Sweden in 1999 and decided to make this the head office during 2000. In 2004 we celebrated our 10th anniversary and the opening of our USA subsidiary, Strategic Test Corporation which is located in the Boston area.
